Excellent game, to be short it's 10/10, the design of the mascot is very good, you could easily release a game that expands the history of the Mascot and even add something like other people in the world have one of those mascots (You can create a great story).
there was no install button only a bunch of files most of the folders showed blank screens was unable to play if this is not compatible for some devices or brand please say I don’t end up wasting my time but I have seen others play the game and it looks enjoyable

Hi TrisGhost, I'm running into an error when I finish the pet feeding portion, where it says to hit enter to continue, I do, and then get the following:
"Script 'Cache' line 100: RGSSError occured failed to create bitmap"
Soooo, I've gotten the game to open, but apparently I don't have the font? But I actually already do? I even went and downloaded the font and it still wouldn't work. Help?

Bootcamp allows you to install a windows server on your computer to play window games. It's completely legal and safe although you are working with an older version of windows and you do separate your storage to accommodate the windows side to be able to download games and play them. Although it saves you from buying another computer!
This game, within the horror genre, is the most original! The characters, the style, basically everything is so cool and it's now one of my favorite games, keep it up!
For those not finding the font instal; It was not in the VLGotic folder for me, but rigth underneath it. So go Download game -> Unpack -> Homegrown Pet -> Template -> Font -> Double click on VL-Gothic-Regular (file, not folder) and it should bring up a new window where you can install it. Then go back to "Template" and click on "Game"
I was able to get to the VL-Gothic-Regular file, thank you for helping me find the right place to go there, but when I double click on it I am told to choose an app to open the file with. What am I supposed to open it with? Also I went back to template while writing this comment and found game. When I clicked on it I was told that my device is not compatible since it uses Chrome OS. This is a fairly new device for me so I didn't know this beforehand. Is it possible to open this game on OS? Or is it only compatible with Windows?
Hello. I have tried SO MANY TIMES to download this. I open the VL Gothic Font folder and there's no font window or instal button. Did I do something wrong?

Open "Template" file, click "Font", open and install third file then you can start the game :)

it's only for windows sadly, if you have a windows laptop you could get it by itch.io website or the downloaded ver of itch.io

It's the file in the "Font" folder, not in the VLGothic folder. You went one step too far xP
Have you followed this step?
- Open the Font folder inside it
- Open VL Gothic font in it (double click or right click and open)
- There will be a font window opened showcasing the font currently you are opening. Click [INSTAL] button on top left corner.
P.S. Don't forget to extract all files (When I say *all* files, I mean all including the font oxo )
